He had Ginny. He had the Weasley's. None of that really mattered. The one that mattered all along never asked for promises. He just sat and watched, protected him, always there when he needed him. With the beginning of the year, and the end of an era, Harry wanted a new beginning. Standing on Severus' doorstep, he bit his bottom lip nervously before bringing up his hand and knocking. When Severus opened the door, his eyes widened once he saw who stood there. Harry knew no words would work, so he just stepped inside and pressed his lips against Severus'.
