Arthur volunteered to stay at Grimmauld Place and look after the injured man. Snape's Ivory skin was mottled with dark bruises. Arthur raised a hand to Snape's cheek, his fingers tracing over the angry red skin. Snape's eyelashes fluttered against his cheekbone. Arthur slipped in beside Severus, their hands entwined tightly together. He gently kissed the unconscious man, and moments before he let himself slip into sleep, he made a silent promise that Severus’ spying days were over. This was no way to spend Valentine’s Day as Molly had so vehemently pointed out before leaving in a huff.
